Important Setup Information
The Microsoft Data Access Components are the key technologies that enable Universal Data Access. They include ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), Remote Data Service (RDS, formerly known as Advanced Data Connector or ADC), OLE DB, and Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).
This setup updates the components from the release that shipped with Internet Information Server 4.0 to be compatible to the features that ship with Visual Studio 6.0.

FrontPage Server Extensions are required to create and edit Visual InterDev Web projects. These extensions replace the FrontPage Extensions installed with FrontPage 98, as well as those installed by Internet Information Server 4.0, and they must be installed to work properly with Webs created by Visual InterDev 6.0. This setup may only be installed on x86 platforms.
